Loreto June/ July 2021
This is our second trip to Mexico in a matter of a few months. We once again made the decision based on proximity, but also because Loreto is a sleepy town and the COVID rates were lower than, for example, Cabo. Plus, we've heard great things about this place from the in-laws, so of course we had to check it out ourselves.

Villa del Palmar Loreto is actually 45 minutes from the town of Loreto. It's down a long 1 lane highway, with not a whole lot in between. But once you enter the main grounds, this place transforms into a great vacation getaway.

You can check out the video from our son here.

For Californians: The first mission was built in Loreto (see below). There are 2 missions that are worth visiting in the Loreto area (see thumbnail).
Lots of time hanging around food, including our adult only dinners and our nightly tequila tasting.
We already miss our fun days in Mexico this year. For now, we'll settle with pretending in our pool that we're still there.

For 2022, we are looking at Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta. If anyone has thoughts or suggestions about the resort, please send me an email!

I'm also looking for new vacation ideas, so please send them our way.
